WHAT IS A BREAK ROOM?
Often called smash rooms, rage rooms, or even therapy rooms by many, a break room is just that. A safe and controlled environment where you’ll receive a specified number of breakables and a variety of tools and simply smash. Here at the Washington Break Room the objective is to break things and have fun!
The Washington Break Room is a locally-owned destination where we understand that emotions and energy need to be released. We’ve created a destination to let go of anger, stress, disappointment, or extra energy.
Just select your booking time and number of guests and we’ll provide all the breakables for you! Come alone or in a group. You can even host a party here!

What is a break room, and why is it important?
The break room is a safe space where you can release stress and have fun by smashing various breakable items. Break rooms are a great outlet to relieve daily stress, anxieties, and other frustrations while providing a great source of entertainment.
What weapons of destruction do you provide?
The Washington Break Room will provide baseball bats, hammers, and crowbars.
Is there a dress code?
We highly recommend you wear pants and long sleeve shirts. All participants should also wear closed-toed shoes to avoid potential injuries
Is this activity safe?
The Washington Break Room provides our customers with safety gear, including gloves and full-face masks. We have well-defined rules to ensure your safety.
Is this a type of therapy?
Absolutely not! The Washington Break Room should not be utilized as a substitution for therapy.
Can I bring my breakables?
You can bring items that can be broken, but remember to get them approved by the staff. We recommend you break these items during your scheduled time and in designated areas.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled booking to sign waivers and get your safety equipment.
Is alcohol permitted?
There will be no alcohol or drugs permitted on the premises. We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Can I attend if I am pregnant?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow pregnant women to partake for safety and liability reasons.
Are photos and videos allowed?
Absolutely! Tag us on social media outlets.
What are your hours?
The Washington Break Room will be open on Fridays from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays will be open only through appointment.

Do you take walk-ins?
Unfortunately, we can not facilitate walk-ins at this time.
Is there a minimum age?
Everyone over the age of 10 can come to The Washington Break Room. Individuals under the age of 18 must have an adult present. A valid ID will be required at the time of entry.
How many people can I have in my group?
The Washington Break Room can facilitate parties of 1 – 8 people. We can accommodate larger groups. Please call and let us know.
Can I throw a party in The Washington Break Room?
Absolutely! We accept bookings booking for corporate parties and special occasion parties.

My fiancée and I went and I paid extra for the TV, but instead of giving us just one big TV to smash, they let us take 2 small ones, which honestly was just as good! They give you the run down and then leave you alone to wreak havoc! It was a dream to be able to go to a break room/rage room, and this one was a perfect spot for a first time! The music they play over the speakers is also the PERFECT playlist to just go ape s#!t to! We’re definitely going to be going back! Also, it should be noted, it’s a bit difficult to find this place. The address will get you to the BUILDING, but you need to take the little driveway just before the buildings parking lot, and it’ll take you down behind the building to where you’ll see the door! Hopefully they can get a big sign soon! (They told us it’s already in the works, there’s just some issues getting in the way of it) I highly suggest going here and just relieving your stress in a quick 30 minute round of fury and flying glass
